Doctor G: Ben’s clamping

Most stories are from the patients perspective, but there is always 2 sides to every tale. I”m Doctor Gomco, and while i work in family practice my specialty is circumcisions I have a great conversion rate of uncut males walking into my room coming out cut

here is just one of my patients.

My 4 o’clock appointment is called through to my office

Ben is 16, with a brown buzzcut and a solid build. He is followed by an older man with dark hair and a serious expression.

‘take a seat ben. what can i do for you today’

the older man immediately starts up ‘i’m ben’s step dad, we are here to discuss circumcision’

my interest immediately increases

‘oh, what about it?’

‘well i’ve just married Ben’s mother Anna, and i’ve noticed a few things, one of them is that Ben is uncut. both of my sons were circumcised at birth, but i guess his father wasn’t keen on the idea’

‘ok i see’

‘well firstly i think i’ts important that ben is part of the family’

‘but there’s also the issue of cleanliness’

ben immediately blushes

‘is that right ben?’ i ask

‘i’ve noticed an odour’ his step dad say

‘yes ok i see. so no change in positive behavior’

‘so i think it needs to come off’ he says with finality

the poor boy looks very down. ‘i don’t really want it. if you just gave me another chance….’

‘well ben, your step-dad just said he gave you a chance and you didn’t rise to the occasion?’

‘i didn’t know…’

‘i think deep down you must have known Ben. and it will be much cleaner after. you shouldn’t see this as some sort of punishment. i’m sure your step dad has your best interest at heart’

‘i think you will be better off after son’ step-dad says.

‘so you would like to proceed?’

‘yes i think so - i was told you did them in your clinic here?’

‘yes i do, but i’m afraid i would have to book in a date’

ben looks happy for once

‘you could not do today?’

‘well i have other patients waiting….if you can stay until 5pm, i could do it then? it’s only about an hour from now

‘yes i think that is a good idea. i want to get it out of the way’

‘well return to the waiting area and i will call you through when things are ready for the procedure

both of them get up and leave

i write my notes quickly and move onto the next patient, though i’m inpatient to proceed with Ben’s operation i do not neglect the other people seeing me today

just before 5pm finish and call ben and his step dad back through

‘ben, please come though’

the boy is more pale than earlier, clearly worried

‘take a seat. i just need to discuss a few details of the operation with you’

step dad nods

‘so we are removing the foreskin and stitching the edge together. it’s very quick and safe but will obviously be a change for you

‘i can do different sort of circumcisions depending on whats desired’

‘oh a complete circumcision for sure’ dad interjects

‘yes ok, do you have a preference for high or low?’

‘whats that?’ ben asks

‘well it’s where the scar goes. and then there is tight or less tight. or very tight’ i say

‘i never really had any input into my other sons circumcisions’ step dad says

‘well nows an opportunity i guess’ i say

‘just needs to look natural really’

‘like yours?’ i enquire

‘yeah, that would be good actually’ step dad says

‘may i see’ i ask

‘sure enough’

step dad drops his pants and exposes his penis. he has a fairly high cut, moderately tight. clear gomco ring. he pops it back away

‘well yes i can do it similar to that’

‘sounds fine yes’ the step dad says

‘ok up on the bed’ i say to ben and he hesitantly gets up

‘pants down’ and he does

his foreskin isn’t really that long, but as i retract it i see what dad means.

i give it a rough clean, ben cringing the entire time

i leave it to dry, and pull the step dad aside and away from ben

‘if i may ask, and feel free to tell me you don’t know but does ben have a masturbation problem?’

the step dad shakes his head ‘yeah, compared to my 2 other sons….he does. lots of dirty socks. i’ve told him to pick up his act. but no.’

‘circumcision will help with that, but if thats the case with ben i would recommend i do a special type of cut for him, a very tight one. it means cutting off a lot of his skin. and there is no going back.’

‘no thats fine, i think thats a good idea then’ the step dad nods

‘ok great’

i head back to ben and setup the drape

‘ok ben, this the local. it stings a lot but will make everything numb’

ben moans and moves when i first inject it

‘you need to stay still ben’ i say roughly and hold his leg down

as i inject more local he calms

i place a small strap across his legs just in case though

‘ok ben, so i’m going to clamp off your foreskin now. i’ve had a chat with your step-dad and we have agreed a radical circumcision is indicated’

wiht that the gomco is applied tightly. i reposition to ensure a maximum tightness circumcision. the screw it down tightly, with each twist further seeing the foreskins fate

‘radical?’ ben says alarmed

‘don’t worry ben, it’s just a name’ i say, fully aware thats not true.

the clamp works it’s magic, slowly strangling his foreskin

after a minute the dead skin is ready for the knife

i look up at ben who is wide-eyes and shocked

‘please i…’ he says

‘it’s too late son, we are almost done’

them i draw around the edge unit the forskin is freed. then it goes in a jar. just like the rest, it is to be added to my collection.

with removal of the clamp i see how much as been taken

i worry that it’s maybe too much, but i bring the edges together expertly

he will be very tight, but that was my aim. the glans already flares.

i wrap a bandage around the edge and help Ben up

‘i want you to come back in a week and i will take down the bandage’

‘only simple paracetamol is reauired. and no sport until i see you’

with that they both leave, ben seeming completely shocked by the events

(1 week later)

Ben walks into he room followed by his step dad

‘how are we doing today?’

‘um ok’ ben says

‘lets take a look huh?’

with that i direct ben up to the bed, and get him to slip down his pants

i remove the bandage and this is ben’s first time seeing his newly shaped penis

soft, he has no loose skin at all. there is a short cuff of inner pink skin before the shaft. his frenulum is gone. the head flares. even his meatus seems bigger, though his overall penis maybe seems little smaller. already the head is starting to dry, though it will be some time before it reaches it’s final state though maybe he is just scared.

‘i think it looks great’ i say

ben says nothing but his step dad nods

‘of course it will be much less sensitive now’ i say. ‘ a good thing’

‘i would like to see you in a few weeks time to see how you’re doing’

and with that they both leave, ben dejected, step-dad proud
